Let’s Blog it out!
Information inundates us constantly—reports flood in daily, and news updates pour in by the second. The time to read and analyze them follows the CO2 emissions reduction target, Zero. In response to this overwhelming influx, I’ve narrowed my focus to a single topic of personal interest.
Through this blog, I aim to deepen my understanding of this subject and share my insights and reflections, viewing it as a valuable personal exercise. Please share your comments with me and suggest further topics you would like to explore. I am more than willing to delve deeply into them.
This space was inspired by the following books:
The economist
Robert Shiller
Finance and the Good Society. I picked it up back in 2013, and it’s stuck with me ever since. “We need more financial innovation, and finance should play a larger role in helping society achieve its goals,” his words resonate deeply with me. His messages have been instrumental in guiding my journey of connecting finance with sustainability.
The friend
Carolina Chavate
Rituales para una vida creativa. I crossed paths with Carolina in London many moons ago when we were both wanderers exploring the world. While she aspired to be a writer, I was still figuring out my own path. A few years ago, Caro co-authored a book with her friend Aniko Villalba. Their book presents beautiful rituals for nurturing a creative life. Inspired by their work, I established a weekly writing ritual of my own.
The artist
Julia Cameron
The artist’s way. I stumbled upon her book through a podcast in 2023, and it was simply magical. It’s a book filled with exercises aimed at rediscovering the artist within each of us. Upon finishing it, I made a decision to pursue something I had long toyed with – starting a blog.
